Recording

Junior Engineer

Day Rate – $650

Hourly – $75

Senior Engineer

Day Rate – $800

Hourly – $90

The day rate is 10 hours.

Minimum 2 hours.

All sessions must end by 10pm ( we wish we could play all night but its because of where we are located!)

Deposits are required for sessions that are more than 4 weeks in advance. Cancelation within 1 week of session is non refundable. 50% refundable between 8 and 21 days prior to session.

Vocal Recording

Weekday nights Monday – Thursday 2 hours between 6-10pm. $180+GST

Songwriter Demos

We take ideas and turn them into reality. we can take a song idea and turn it into a radio ready song.

We have two tiers of what we call “Demo Days” A “Demo day” has a full band of professional musicians and up to 6 songwriters. We use the same band for all of the songs and each artists gets an hour with the band to record the song. The song is “vetted” prior (what you would call pre production) and a chart is made for the musicians to read. We all sit in the control and listen to the demo and read the chart and talk about ideas and direction for the song. Then we hit record. After and hour, the song is finished and ready for its next step. We often record 4-6 songs in a day

Tier One

Soren runs the top tier, working the top musicians from across Canada. This is for serious songwriters wanting to pitch their song to labels or other artists, or to use it as the beds for releasable song – awaiting more production.

Tier Two

The second tier is ran by Jordain and is aimed at emerging songwriters wanting to get their music out. The best local musicians are used and it is a great staring point for artists who are new to recording.

Sessionwire

We use sessionwire if you’re not able to be in studio with us. This means we are able to work with people all over the world!

Sessionwire features video and voice (Talkback) communications and a discrete HQ Audio channel for live, pristine, studio quality monitoring over the internet. Our exclusive Automute feature manages Talkback microphone spill on HQ Audio playback by automatically muting each participants microphone at the source. This enables HQ Audio playback in a normal studio monitoring environment without affecting audio playback for session participants.

The Writers' Room

We have room dedicated to writing. We have coffee, and comfy chairs and space to be creative. If you are looking to collaborate with other artists this is the perfect space. You need to bring your own instruments and if you want, bring a laptop and interface and you connect to the speakers and mixer there, to record your demos
